Managers set a management fee of 0-10% annually, and the protocol adds a management tier of 0.40% at launch that steps down to 0.10% as the vault grows. Performance fees (manager-set, up to 50%) are charged only on your own gains above your entry price, when you exit — you pay the higher of the manager's fee or a small 1%-of-gains protocol minimum, never both stacked. The protocol takes the greater of that 1% floor or its 20% share of the fee; the manager keeps the rest. Withdrawals work the same way: you pay the higher of the manager's withdrawal fee (up to 5%) or a 0.2% protocol minimum on your exit — waived entirely if the vault closes.

No. Managers can only execute trades on Hyperliquid. All withdrawals go directly to the depositor's wallet. Smart contracts enforce this at the protocol level.

Each vault sets its own terms. Instant withdrawals are available up to the vault's instant limit, paid from its liquidity reserve. Larger withdrawals enter an on-chain queue with a hard settlement deadline (1-30 days, set per vault) — and anyone, not just the manager, can process the queue once liquidity is there. Some vaults also set a lockup period (up to 365 days) after deposit before withdrawals are allowed.

Vaults trade across Hyperliquid markets: 100+ perpetual futures and the spot order book. Every position is swept into the vault's on-chain NAV from its unified HyperCore margin account.

Minimum deposits are set by each vault manager. Managers can also set a maximum vault capacity to limit total AUM.

Launching a vault costs a few dollars: a small USDC creation fee (owner-tunable; most of it becomes your own manager stake in the vault) plus a small amount of HYPE for gas. That buys fund infrastructure that would traditionally cost $50K+ in legal and setup fees.

Net Asset Value is computed from on-chain reads of the vault's HyperCore and HyperEVM state — perp equity, spot holdings, bridge balances, and accrued fees. Anyone can recompute it from chain state; nothing depends on numbers the manager reports.

Vaults can be public (anyone can deposit) or whitelist-only (invite-only access). Whitelist vaults require the manager to add your wallet address before you can deposit. Check the vault's access type before investing.

The contracts and all funds live entirely on-chain, and NAV can be verified directly from chain state. The web app and its indexer are conventionally hosted for speed — if they went down, your funds and every on-chain action (deposits, withdrawals, emergency exits) would be unaffected.
